Step 1

Connect your assistant

Connection URL (MCP server)

Set up in ChatGPT on the web. Availability depends on your account and workspace settings.

Open Settings → Security and login and enable Developer mode.
Open Plugins → +. Name it Opportunity Engine, add a short description, and paste this URL under Connection.
Create the connection and sign in to Opportunity Engine with the same Google account as this page. Review and approve access.

Step 2

Save one real opportunity

Start a new ChatGPT conversation and add Opportunity Engine from the tools menu. Paste this prompt.

Your first message

Help me save my first opportunity in Opportunity Engine. Check that the connection works, then ask me for a job listing URL or a recruiter conversation to use. If you need my email, help me connect an email app first. Check for duplicates, save source references, current stage and next step, and confirm it was saved. Do not send messages or submit applications.

Once your assistant confirms it saved the opportunity, come back and check your list.

Already connected? Go straight to step 2. You do not need to add the connection again.
No opportunities after saving? Use this connection URL and the same Google account in both places. Ask your assistant to confirm the opportunity was saved in Opportunity Engine.
Cannot find the setup option? Use the platform guide above to check your plan or workspace permissions. Initial setup is easiest on the web.
Sign-in fails inside an app? Open the authorization page in Safari or Chrome and try again.
